Pittsgrove Presbyterian Congregation was founded in 1741 and maintains both its original church built in 1767 and its current church built in 1867, plus two historic cemeteries.
Connected to the PCUSA, Synod of the Northeast, and The Presbytery FOR Southern New Jersey, we are a family-oriented congregation which welcomes children and adults of all ages.
We offer many opportunities for spiritual growth, including Sunday School, Bible and book studies, and retreats.
We reach out to our community through our Gathering for God (a group that collects unused produce from local farmers for distribution to the local soup kitchen and food pantries), Vacation Bible School, Father/Son and Mother/Daughter dinners, Invite-a-Friend Sunday, Trunk or Treat, The Church Has Left the Building, and so forth.
We are active in missions throughout the year collecting for and supporting the local food pantries, (Disciples Pantry in Woodstown & Victory Assembly of God in Elmer), Gloucester County Family Promise, Ranch Hope, Cornerstone, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, and other missions: both local and international. We also offer the congregation tangible opportunities to share Christmas gifts with those in need and special projects with the surrounding community.
Our desire is to grow in faith and in the love of Jesus Christ, while also inviting others to know God's grace, and to share his grace with those who are not as blessed as we are.
